Rhodium nitrate Rh(NO3)3 (and for comparison RhCl3 and Rh(OAc)2), was applied as precursor for the growth of Rh nanostructures in a horizontal high-temperature tubular
furnace CVD reactor. The controlled experiments with Rh(NO3)3 as CVD precursor revealed that for the unique shape evolution of nanostructures the use of Rh(OAc)2 with Rh-Rh bond is indispensable. The deposited Rh nanostructures were characterized by various
analytical techniques and used for conductivity measurements.[i]
