The dimeric calcium bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amide {Ca[N(SiMe3)2]2}2, and its monomeric adducts with dimethoxyethane {Ca[N(SiMe3)2]2}·DME and tetrahydrofuran{Ca[N(SiMe3)2]2}·(THF)2 were proposed as potential precursors for the MOCVD growth of calcium-contaning layers.[[i]] Their crystal structures have been reported [[ii]]
