RHODIUM HALIDES

Rhodium chloride RhCl3

Rhodium chloride RhCl3 (and for comparison Rh(NO3)3 and Rh(OAc)2), Rh was applied as precursor for the CVD growth of Rh nanostructures in a horizontal high-temperature tubular furnace reactor. The controlled experiments with RhCl3 as CVD precursor revealed that the use of Rh(OAc)2 with Rh-Rh bond is indispensable for the unique shape evolution of nanostructures. All synthesised Rh nanostructures were characterized by various techniques and used for conductivity measurements.[i]
