Neopentylzinc diethyldiselenocarbamate Zn(CH2tBu)(Se2C-NEt,
Tert-butylzinc diethyldiselenocarbamate Zn(tBu)( Se2C-NEt2)2)
Diethyldiselenocarbamate derivatives of neopentylzinc and of tert-butylzinc Zn(CH2tBu)(Se2C-NEt2) and Zn(tBu)(Se2C-NEt2) were synthesized, the X-ray crystal structure of [Zn(neopentyl) (Se2CNEt2) was determined by single crystal XRD.
Both Zn(CH2tBu)(Se2C-NEt2) and Zn(tBu)(Se2C-NEt2) were applied as single-source precursors to deposit ZnSe thin films by MOCVD. [i]

Methylzinc diethyldiselenocarbamate ZnMe(Se2C-NEt2)
Ethylzinc diethyldiselenocarbamate ZnEt(Se2C-NEt2)
Diethyldiselenocarbamate derivatives of methylzinc [ZnMe(Se2C-NEt2)] and of ethylzinc [ZnEt(Se2C-NEt2)] have been synthesized from diethylammonium salt of diethyldiselenocarbamates and coresponding zinc alkyls, and characterized by spectroscopic methods.
Both [ZnMe(Se2C-NEt2)] and of ethylzinc [ZnEt(Se2C-NEt2)] have been successfully applied as first single-source precursors for the groth of ZnSe thin films by MOCVD. [[i]]
