Rhodium cyclopentadienyl bis(ethylene) RhCp(C2H4)2 (in the gaseous phase) was applied as precursor for the deposition of rhodium films by laser CVD (both in He and H2 atmospheres), at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The deposited Rh films contained <1 mass%C and seemed to be crystalline in some extent.
