SODIUM-YTTRIUM ALKOXIDES-β-DIKETONATES

Disodium-yttrium tetrakis(trifluoroisopropoxide) (2,2,6,6-tetramethylheptane-3,5-dionate) Na2Y[OCH(CF3)2]4(thd)

Disodium-yttrium tetrakis(trifluoroisopropoxide) (2,2,6,6-tetramethylheptane-3,5-dionate) Na2Y[OCH(CF3)2]4(thd) (M =) was synthesized (as thf adduct Na2Y [OCH(CF3)2]4(thd)(THF)4 ) by reaction between YNa3[OCH(CF3)2]6(THF)3 and yttrium diketonate Y(thd)3) and characterizedby FT-IR, NMR (1H, 13C, 9F), mass spectrometry and TGA. The complex was reported to be sublimable (with loss of THF ligand, but retention of the stoichiometry between Na and Y) and thus potentially applicable as Na-Y single source MOCVD precursor [i]
