Manganese nitrate Mn(NO3)3 dissolved in water, in combination with lanthanum nitrate and strontium acetate solutions, was applied as Mn precursor for the deposition of (La0.85Sr0.15)0.95MnO3-δ films on an yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) substrates by the electrostatic spray
deposition (ESD) technique. The surface morphology of (La0.85Sr0.15)0.95MnO3-δ films was strongly influenced by the precursor solution flow rate and deposition temperature; LSM films were nanostructured and had hexagonal phase, consisting of crystallites
of 60−75 nm on average after thermal treatment at 600-900°C temperatures, as was shown by powder XRD analysis. [[i]]
