Zinc nitrate Zn(NO3) has been reported to be applicable as CVD precursor for the deposititon of ZnO films, with constrant of reaction by orders of magnitude higher than for ZnCl2 (at 450°C logK ~7 for Zn(NO3)2, vs. logK ~0 for ZnCl2) [[i]]
