Barium iodide BaI2

Barium iodide BaI2

Barium iodide has higher volatility that other haides and is potential precursor for MOCVD of Ba-contaning layers.

Barium iodide BaI2, in combination with yttrium chloride and copper(I) chloride,  has been used to prepare YBa2Cu3O7−δ superconducting material by CVD. [[i]]
