    Metallic cesium Cs is low melting metal (28.4°C) that is relatively easy to vaporise (boiling point 671°C, vapor pressure 0.4Torr/ 250°C , 284 Torr/ 597°C). Cesium metal has been characterised by IR, photoemission efficiency, vapor pressure determination. [5]

    Metallic cesium has following vapor pressure formula: Log10P(Torr) = A - B/T + C log10T + D T + E T2 (T, K) , here A = -2,9708; B = -3,6286E3, C = 4.1641; D = -3.6632E-3; E = 7.9575E-7. (in the temperature range  Tmin =22°C (295K) to Tmax = 686 °C (959 K))
