Lead dichalcogenoimidodiphoshanato complexes [Pb((SPiPr2)2N)2] and [Pb((SePiPr2)2N)2] were synthesised and characterised.
The complexes were applied as single-source precursors for the deposition of lead chalcogenide (PbS, PbSe) thin films on glass substrates by AACVD and low-pressure MOCVD. The layers consisted of cubic PbS/Se, as determined by X-Ray powder diffraction.
